SAO PAULO, Brazil, July 23, 2018 – Corteva AgriscienceTM, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont, will transform global agriculture through constant investments in digital technologies, high performance genetics, permanent contact with growers and the most comprehensive portfolio in the industry. It is with these strong assets that the future company, resulting from a merger between Dow and DuPont, will showcase itself at the Global Agribusiness Forum 2018, one of the largest events on agribusiness in the world, of which the company is one of the main sponsors.
Corteva AgriscienceTM will combine decades of experience from both companies delivering innovation and making bold moves to shape consumer perceptions of agriculture around the globe and stating its vital importance to mankind. “We want to emerge as the reliable leader in food and agriculture in our industry”, said Roberto Hun, Corteva AgriscienceTM for Brazil and Paraguay.
Brazil will greatly benefit from the strength of the potfolios and knowledge. The country is one of the most strategic markets for Corteva at a global level. “Today, Brazil is number two in sales, second only to the U.S.”, said Hun. Last year alone, Latin America accounted for around 20 percent of the Agriculture Division global sales.
