WILMINGTON, Del., October 12, 2020 — James C. Collins, Jr., Chief Executive Officer and Neal Gutterson, Chief Technology Officer of Corteva Agriscience, will participate in two panel discussions at the virtual 2020 Borlaug International Symposium at the World Food Prize.

On Monday, Oct. 12, Collins will join other executives and thought leaders for the mainstage roundtable discussion Investment Innovations for Food System Transformation. Collins will highlight the importance of long-term investment in technology and tools to spur food security, access and quality globally.

On Friday, Oct. 16, Gutterson will join the roundtable discussion The Road to the 2021 Food Systems Summit, providing insights on the role of industry and the importance of technology choices in conversations around advancing food systems and agriculture—locally and globally.

Additionally, on Oct. 12, Corteva is sponsoring Transforming Agriculture and Food Systems into a Circular Economy, a side event examining how we can accelerate the transformation of agriculture into a circular economy – to grow food in a way that benefits the environment and creates ecosystem assets such as sequestered carbon and improved water quality. Following pre-recorded introductory remarks by Collins, Amanda Little, author, The Fate of Food: What We’ll Eat in a Bigger, Hotter, Smarter World will moderate a multi-stakeholder discussion to rethink our industry’s future and quest to feed our rapidly growing population through sustainable technologies, tools and practices. This side event is open to the public; registration information is available on the World Food Prize website.
