“DuPont Pioneer strives to enrich the lives of people in the communities where our employees, customers and Pioneer sales representatives live and work,” says Bryce Eger, Canadian Commercial Unit Leader at DuPont Pioneer. “This includes ensuring the next generation of farmers and leaders have access to resources and support like education, safety, and good nutrition, which they need to be successful and have a bright future.”
Recent community investment initiatives by Pioneer have included the Funding Initiative for Rural Emergencies (2012-2015) that supported emergency services and first responders, and the Full Belly! Full Mind! (2016-2017) initiative that focused on breakfast and student nutrition programs. To date, donations from these two programs have totaled over $500,000.
Programs focused on agricultural education, farm safety, and food security for youth in rural communities may qualify for funding. Request an application package by contacting a local Pioneer sales representative (Eastern Canada) or Pioneer Hi-Bred sales representative (Western Canada), or by emailing us at email@example.com.
