The gaming giants beat Team Grimme to the €30,000 prize
Erlangen, Germany – September 21, 2020 – Corteva Agriscience is delighted to announce that Team Trelleborg have won the Farming Simulator League Final.
The Trelleborg Team were named champions and awarded a €30,000 prize after beating Team Grimme during a nail-biting match in Erlangen, Germany, this weekend.
Corteva has been the lead sponsor of the agricultural video game developed by Giants Software, which has attracted millions of virtual farmers in simulating the real-life operations and economics of managing a farm.
There have been 12 eSports tournaments played online and offline across Europe since the start of the League last year, with players able to purchase Corteva’s Pioneer® brand seeds and crop protection products for use on the in-game farms.
