The stories of what matters most – 6/21/2021

Amber’s story

How do Corteva’s efforts to advance inclusion, diversity and equity make you feel?

I’m optimistic because, as a company, we’ve really committed to cultivating this culture of belonging. I’m excited because we have an opportunity to lead the agriculture sector in this work.

How does Corteva celebrate your community?

Corteva is an important partner for the LGBTQ+ community and is committed to recognizing the contributions and accomplishments of our LGBTQ+ employees, myself included.

What advice would you give industry stakeholders beginning their own ID&E journey?

I think it really comes down to being courageous — to say, we have an opportunity. We also have an obligation and responsibility, and we're going to do it.

What matters most to you about advancing ID&E in agriculture?

What matters most to me is making sure we build a company where everyone feels comfortable being their best self, each day, at every Corteva location around the world.

“Inclusion, Diversity and Equity. These three elements combine to create a true sense of belonging – a feeling that occurs when each person feels able to bring their full self to work, contribute to their fullest potential, and thrive.”
