Ramiro De La Cruz is the Vice President of the Transformation Office for Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont™. In this role, he is accountable for leading the delivery of synergies, driving culture and new operating model transformation and preparing the division to spin into a new agriculture public company.
Prior to this role, he served as Global Leader for Dow AgroSciences Crop Protection Global Business Unit.
Ramiro has held a variety of leadership roles with Dow AgroSciences after joining the company in 1988 as a Technical Service and Development Representative in Columbia. He served as Research and Development (R&D) Leader for the company’s Andean countries before moving to the company’s global headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana. There he held roles in Human Resources, Six Sigma and as a Global Project Success Leader where he was responsible for the launch of cyhalofop and penoxsulam herbicide products.
He was later named Global Business Leader for the Rice portfolio followed by Global Business Leader for the Insecticides Portfolio. He went on to lead the Mesoandean Commercial Unit and the Brazil Commercial Unit.
He holds a degree in agronomical engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and an MBA from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
