Managing harvest timing
In Brazil, farmers often use herbicides to help control timing of their soybean harvest so they can plant a second crop of corn. Compared with other herbicides commonly used to manage harvest timing, Rinskor allows soybeans to mature longer, which can improve grain consistency and yield.
Improving plant productivity
In sugarcane, Rinskor helps direct more plant energy toward sugar production and reduce stalk dehydration, supporting greater yield potential.

Some herbicides must be applied at levels measured in kilograms per hectare, but in most crops, use rates for Rinskor are many times lower — just grams per hectare.** Rinskor is effective at such low use rates because of how the molecule works and because of its well-designed formulations, including NeoEC™ technology and OD types, which help weeds absorb the herbicide more efficiently.

As part of a weed management program, Rinskor is effective against broadleaf weeds, grasses and sedges, including species showing resistance to other commonly used herbicide modes of action such as ALS and ACCase herbicides. Rinskor delivers proven weed control across multiple different rice varieties and cultivation systems. It’s also a reliable option for weed control in corn, especially for non-GMO hybrids, as well as in soybeans, sugar beet, sugarcane, specialty crops, turf grass and pastures.

Since its introduction, Rinskor has been known for its low use rates, low soil persistence and low residues in harvested crops. Now, Rinskor is also manufactured in a more sustainable way, reducing its carbon footprint by about 30% versus the original process.¹ Analysis from rice fields in China shows that farmers could save between 70%–80% of the carbon footprint associated with herbicide application when using Rinskor vs. propanil.¹
