Mataura - Gore

Susan Riepma farms at Tuturau, on a 400-acre family-owned sheep and beef property that has been in the family for generations. Today, Susan works alongside her son Simon, continuing a proud farming legacy while adapting systems to meet modern challenges.

Previous attempts to control Cali Thistles using Versatill PowerFlo and 2,4-D have been inconsistent.
An average of 26 thistle stems per square metre reduces productive grazing area and is starting to cause issues with animal health.
