Seed treatment protects cereals from major early season diseases, helping crops start strong

[Calgary AB – March 12, 2026] – Corteva has closed the loop on comprehensive cereal protection from seed to harvest with the launch of Lumiscend™ LUXE: a powerful new fungicide seed treatment with four actives targeting Fusarium and Rhizoctonia head-on, boosting seedling emergence, root development and early vigour for a proven yield advantage over standard fungicide treatments. Teamed with the recently launched Telbek™ PRO fungicide with Adavelt™ active, Lumiscend™ LUXE provides Canadian wheat, durum, barley, and oat growers with complete seasonal defense.

Fusarium and Rhizoctonia are persistent threats for Canadian wheat growers, contributing to root, crown, and foot rots that can harm yield and grain quality.
