BlueN™ supports continuous nutrient use efficiency throughout the season, helping plants reach their marketable yield potential.
BlueN is a nutrient efficiency biostimulant containing Methylobacterium symbioticum, a naturally occurring bacteria. Once applied to an actively growing crop, it colonises the leaf and helps maintain nutrient availability throughout the season, especially during periods of high demand.
BlueN has been shown to enhance marketable yield across a wide range of crops, including sugar beet, maize, potatoes, and many more.
The BlueN Application Optimiser tool is the grower's guide to making local tactical decisions to optimise the application of BlueN. The application tool is available on the FREE Corteva Arable App. Available to download from the App Store or Google play now.

- BlueN nutrient efficiency biostimulant is an effective solution for a range of arable and horticultural crops. See the label for specific crops.
- BlueN is intended for foliar application on authorised crops when at least 50% of the ground is covered by the crop.
Best Use Advice
- For successful colonisation, apply BlueN to actively growing crops that are not under stress.
- Use BlueN on the day of opening as the bacteria become activated once in contact with moisture. Unopened, BlueN has a shelf life of 2 years.
- Apply when most stomata are open, ie., morning, late afternoon or evening.
- Apply when daytime temperatures are between 10°C and 25°C (maximum 30°C), with night temperatures preferably above 5°C.
- Avoid frost events for one week before and three days after application.
- Ensure crops have sufficient leaf area, with at least 50% ground cover, to maximise spray interception. Refer to the label for individual crop advice.
- Use water with a pH between 5 and 8.
- Refer to the tank mix lists for compatibilities. When tank mixing, add BlueN to the tank last and maintain constant agitation.
