As the growing season nears its end, the challenges and successes of the season come into focus, including levels of foliar disease pressure across your region. To help farmers overcome the continuous challenge these diseases can pose, Corteva Agriscience has announced, pending U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registration, availability of Forcivo™ fungicide, a new foliar fungicide with the strength of three active ingredients, including a novel SDHI. Expected to launch in 2026, Forcivo will protect crops from multiple diseases, including tar spot, southern rust and frogeye leaf spot, with long-lasting residual activity.

A force to be reckoned with, Forcivo fungicide will offer several key benefits:

  • Three modes of action against foliar diseases. With three effective active ingredients, including flutriafol, azoxystrobin and the novel SDHI f luindapyr, Forcivo will protect crops with overlapping preventive and curative activity. Multiple modes of action help manage diseases that may be less susceptible to one particular ingredient.
  • Labeled for multiple crops. For farmers growing multiple crops or fighting multiple fungal infections, Forcivo will provide broad-spectrum control of many of the toughest diseases in corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, sorghum and triticale. Persistent diseases that threaten yield year after year may be effectively managed by Forcivo fungicide.
  • Bolsters plant health and yield potential. By shielding plants from damaging diseases, Forcivo can help farmers grow healthier crops that deliver more on their yield potential and increased revenue per acre. Three active ingredients and up to 30-day residual activity will help protect crops through harvest, even from late-season, yield-robbing diseases, to help maximize ROI.

Forcivo also features a low use rate of seven to nine fluid ounces per acre, for easier handling, mixing and logistics compared to other fungicides on ALS- and glyphosate-resistant weeds in both soybeans and corn.
