Enversa™ herbicide is a residual soybean and cotton herbicide with a proprietary formulation of encapsulated acetochlor to handle some of the toughest hard-to-control broadleaf and grass weeds that farmers face today. This is the first soybean and cotton herbicide solution in the Corteva Agriscience portfolio to feature encapsulated acetochlor.

In addition to having encapsulated acetochlor, Enversa delivers long-lasting residual and provides tank-mix flexibility, giving growers the ability to customize their weed control programs. Enversa herbicide is the preferred residual tank-mix partner of choice with Enlist One® herbicide for Enlist E3® soybeans.

Novel formulation

Enversa herbicide contains a proprietary, encapsulated acetochlor (Group 15) formulation for residual control of challenging weeds. The encapsulated acetochlor complements tank-mix partners by allowing Enversa to drive to the soil and provide a residual barrier against weeds that haven’t emerged, while tank-mix partners like glyphosate remain active on the weed surface before moving into the plant.

Effective weed control

Enversa herbicide delivers extended weed control for up to 4 weeks on more than 20 broadleaf and grass weeds, including Palmer amaranth and waterhemp, plus just 0.5 inch of rain is needed for activation. In addition to its compatibility with Enlist One for Enlist E3 soybeans, Enversa will fit perfectly into a program approach along with other Corteva Agriscience^™ soybean herbicides, such as Sonic^® Boom and Kyber^® Pro.

Versatility

Enversa is also a versatile weed control solution for soybeans as well as cotton, corn and sorghum. But the versatility doesn’t end there. Enversa gives farmers a wide application window – preplant up to R2 for soybeans and preplant up to first bloom for cotton – to help navigate challenging weather conditions along with great handling and tank-mix compatibility, particularly with Enlist One herbicide for Enlist E3 soybeans.

Excellent crop safety

Because of its encapsulated acetochlor, there will be less crop response with Enversa. This excellent crop safety leads to healthier soybeans and higher yield potential.

Enversa herbicide provides extended residual control up to 4 weeks of 20 weed species, including Palmer amaranth, waterhemp and grasses.

The active ingredient, an encapsulated acetochlor, provides farmers with a Group 15 mode of action for weed resistance management, including powerful control of glyphosate- and ALS-resistant weed varieties.

Enversa offers great handling and tank-mix compatibility. The encapsulated acetochlor helps drive the residual herbicide to the soil while tank-mix partners remain active on weed tissue. Enversa is the preferred residual tank-mix partner with Enlist One herbicide.

Palmer amaranth and waterhemp can be frustrating for any farmer. Fortunately, there are some specific tips when looking to control these two weeds:

Start with a clean seedbed. Apply a burndown herbicide to control weeds early.
In spring, apply a residual herbicide, such as Kyber^® Pro or Sonic^® Boom herbicide, for an additional layer of early season control.
Scout fields to determine your postemergence approach.

Only a half inch of moisture is needed to activate Enversa herbicide.

With a Group 15 mode of action, Enversa herbicide effectively combats resistant weeds like waterhemp and Palmer amaranth — historically hard-to-kill and aggressive species. A program approach with multiple modes of action representing several herbicide groups helps inhibit weeds from becoming resistant to one specific mode of action. When paired together, Enversa herbicide and Enlist One herbicide can prevent weeds from developing tolerance to a single mode of action. A combination of tank-mix partners and modes of action also can prolong the life of herbicides.
