What does LandVisor do?

LandVisor combines sophisticated imagery (including satellite) with advanced data analytics and in-person expert guidance from a Certified LandVisor Consultant. You’ll see your ranch like you’ve never seen it before, from a high level down to what’s going inside a mesquite plant. This information lets you make better decisions on where and when to spray to improve your return on investment and meet your ranch goals.

Using LandVisor and Sendero herbicide applied at 28 fluid ounces per acre, you are guaranteed at least 70% mesquite rootkill up to 3 years after treatment.
If you use Sendero at 28 fluid ounces per acre with Remedy® Ultra herbicide at 8 fluid ounces per acre, you are guaranteed at least 75% mesquite rootkill up to 3 years after treatment.
For treatments of Sendero at 28 fluid ounces per acre with Tordon® 22K herbicide at 16 to 32 fluid ounces per acre, you’re guaranteed at least 75% mesquite rootkill up to 3 years after treatment.

If retreatment is needed, Corteva covers the cost of herbicide, adjuvants and application.

Plan your spray job with digital maps and data showing mesquite density, soil types, key plant species (not just mesquite) and potential grass productivity before and after treatment. Test what-if scenarios. Your consultant can help you tailor mesquite control to your ranch objectives and improve your return on investment.

Timing the application is critical in mesquite control. LandVisor™ advanced brush management continually monitors the targeted mesquite to pinpoint when it’s most susceptible. The technology can observe multiple factors the human eyeball cannot, such as photosynthetic activity. A LandVisor consultant also will inspect the treatment site before spraying.

Once you decide to spray, LandVisor provides a digital application file the aerial applicator loads into a global positioning system (GPS) to enable precise application. After spraying, the applicator loads a digital as-applied file into LandVisor to show exactly what area was treated.

Sendero offers best-in-class grass safety and has minimal impact on desirable forbs and certain wildlife browse species. Sendero controls mesquite but will leave behind oaks, guayacan, hackberry spp., lote bush, lime pricklyash, fourwing saltbush, and prickly pear. Sendero causes short-term canopy reduction on guajillo and kidneywood. Want to control more brush? Broaden the spectrum of control by tank-mixing Sendero with either Remedy Ultra herbicide or Tordon 22K herbicide.

Although landowners using Sendero Powered by LandVisor have the option to enroll in the LandVisor system, the benefits of LandVisor are optional. They don’t require an additional cost or fee. However, to qualify for the enhanced service policy provided by LandVisor, you must enroll your pasture and meet LandVisor program requirements.

With LandVisor you get a comprehensive view of your land, revealing actionable insights to make the right decisions at the right time. LandVisor combines sophisticated imagery, data, technology and expert guidance to give you confidence in your land management decisions.
