At its core, a program approach to weed control and resistance management features tillage practices and herbicides with multiple modes of action for improved results.

Extended residual activity in a preemergence herbicide is important because it supports postemergence application flexibility and season-long weed control. By starting with clean fields and keeping them clean longer, farmers have a wide window to make effective postemergence applications without having to worry about weed size.

Sonic Boom is a premix preemergence herbicide with a unique combination of two proven active ingredients – metribuzin and sulfentrazone – for powerful residual control of more than 35 of the toughest broadleaf weeds, including Palmer amaranth and waterhemp. It delivers a strong long-lasting residual of 4-6 weeks.

Kyber Pro is a preemergence soybean herbicide with three effective modes of action to provide broad-spectrum control of resistant broadleaf and grass weeds, including marestail and pigweed. It delivers up to six weeks of residual control, and may exceed six weeks in the right conditions. The long-lasting residual creates a wider window for postemergence applications, making it a valuable tool in the fight against PPO- and ALS-resistant weeds.

Enversa herbicide provides extended residual control for up to four weeks on 20 weed species, including Palmer amaranth, waterhemp and grasses. Enversa offers farmers a wide application window from preplant up to R2 for soybeans – to help navigate challenging weather conditions along with great handling and tank-mix compatibility, particularly with Enlist One^® herbicide for Enlist E3^® soybeans.
