The Nutrient Maximizers portfolio is a suite of solutions to optimize nitrogen use, ultimately helping farmers increase yield potential and enhance sustainability efforts.

The solutions currently include two below-ground nitrogen stabilizers, an above-ground nitrogen stabilizer and a nutrient efficiency optimizer. This comprehensive portfolio allows farmers to fully customize their nutrient management programs to fit their farming operations.

The four products in the portfolio are:

N-Serve^® nitrogen stabilizer, which is powered by Optinyte^® technology to protect anhydrous ammonia below ground.
Instinct NXTGEN^® nitrogen stabilizer, which is powered by Optinyte technology to protect UAN, urea and liquid manure below ground.
PinnitMax^® TG nitrogen stabilizer, which protects UAN and urea above ground.
Utrisha^™N nutrient efficiency optimizer, a nitrogen fixation product that provides crops with an alternative, sustainable nitrogen source.

Optinyte^®technology is the active ingredient in N-Serve^® and Instinct NXTGEN^® nitrogen stabilizers. Backed by more than 45 years and more than 1,000 field trials and university studies, Optinyte is proven to protect nitrogen below ground against leaching and denitrification. This protection extends nitrogen availability in the root zone for up to eight additional weeks, helping ensure it’s there during critical growth stages for maximum yield potential.

Optinyte technology also is proven to:¹

Increase yield potential by 5.2% when used with spring applications and by 7% when used with fall applications.
Reduce leaching by 16%.
Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 51%.
Promote 28% greater soil retention.

The nitrogen stabilizers in the Nutrient Maximizers portfolio help prevent the loss of nitrogen into the environment, both in the air and water.

The Optinyte^® technology in N-Serve^® and Instinct NXTGEN^® nitrogen stabilizers prevents nitrogen loss below ground from leaching and denitrification.
Optinyte also is proven to:¹
- Reduce leaching by 16%.
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 51%.
- Promote 28% greater soil retention.
PinnitMax^® TG nitrogen stabilizer is shown to prevent nitrogen loss above ground from volatilization for up to 14 days.

In addition to the nitrogen stabilizers, Utrisha^™ N nutrient efficiency optimizer is a sustainable biological solution.

The bacteria in Utrisha N capture nitrogen from the atmosphere, converting it to ammonium for crops to use.
The bacteria, which cannot be removed or washed away, live and grow within the crops throughout the growing season.
The bacteria do not overproduce nitrogen, making the solution environmentally friendly.

Corteva Agriscience will have a dedicated Nutrient Maximizers support team to help farmers and retailers select the best nitrogen management solutions. The team is comprised of technical experts who have a background in, and passion for, nutrient management. The team will provide local insights and recommendations that are customized by geographical needs in collaboration with current in-market teams.
