Keep fences clear and pastures performing

Clean fence row

With a variety of Range & Pasture solutions, keeping fence rows in line and weed free is simple with these product recommendations and mixing rate guidelines.

When it comes to pasture management, fences don’t usually start out as a hot spot for invasive vegetation, and it is not always obvious when encroaching brush and volunteer tree saplings start sprouting along a pasture line.

However, if left unchecked, what was once a clean fence line or hot wire run can gradually become more than an eyesore. Thick stands of invasive woody and vine weeds can expand inward, impacting overall pasture health and grazing capacity. Overgrown fence lines also become difficult to inspect and maintain.

Getting ahead of overgrowth with targeted herbicide applications is key.

Spot treatments

Spot herbicide treatments, applied as foliar applications, are best made in spring and summer up until the leaves start changing in the fall.
